In addition to Calev’s career as an attorney in one of Israel’s leading law firms, Calev is a serial social entrepreneur. Before pivoting his efforts to ARISE, Calev founded and ran the Jerusalem Institute of Justice, through which he represented religious minorities in Israel leading to over 30 Supreme Court victories. He also spearheaded campaigns to bring awareness and changing legislation on behalf of marginalized communities in Israel, specifically lone soldiers and victims of human trafficking.
Residing in the US, Shimon oversees the day to day operations and initiatives of ARISE. Prior to pivoting with his brother to the ARISE initiative, Shimon served alongside Calev as Executive Director for the Jerusalem Institute of Justice. A bit of a renaissance man, Shimon owned and operated a jewelry design and manufacturing company in his early life. He has been a singer/songwriter with television placement, a poker professional, and currently works in film production/directing. If you can’t reach Shimon, he’s probably out on a mountain stream fly fishing.
In addition to being the CEO of Epipheo, an animation studio in Cincinnati that he purchased and sold to the employees in 2021, Lucas is a father of 8 and an investor in a variety of initiatives, including multiple companies and projects in Israel. Lucas is driven by a desire to see more and more people invest their dollars into the Israeli Economy, and is working on multiple projects to make that possible through ARISE.
After retiring his 20 year career at Intel, as a Business Development and Strategic Relationships Executive, Ron discovered his Jewish ancestry. Shortly thereafter, Ron committed the rest of his life to applying his years of experience and expertise to helping economy and business sector of Israel. This inevitably led Ron to ARISE. Ron was able to champion the largest 2022 Israeli tech exit on behalf of Granulate. Ron has been heading up Innovation tours on behalf of ARISE and traveling between Israel and US acting as liaison developing relationships with Israeli government chapters, VC funds, investors and businesses.
